Bi – 06 –2XX Series COD gages are used for fracture mechanics applications using compact tension, arc shaped, disc shaped, bend specimens or other specimen geometries in compliance with prevailing standard practices. COD gages include circuitry for auto-calibration against internal shunt reference, thus obviating the need for on-site calibration during installation. Knife-edges ensure firm mounting of the gage onto the specimen without any slip and can be used up to a frequency of 100Hz.
